Our service is free, fast and friendly. Your vehicle donation is tax deductible, so it’s a win-win! Feel great about helping American veterans while you lessen your tax burden. Vets Vehicles accepts cars, motorcycles, RV’s, boats and trucks — we even accept farm equipment. Each donation supports our carefully selected organizations that help veterans. Donate today in three easy steps.
Vets Vehicles partners with V-DAC (Vehicle Donation to Any Charity). V-DAC has been in the vehicle donation business since 2001 and has processed tens of thousands of vehicles and sent over twenty million dollars to charities.
After donating my car, does my car go to a veteran?
No. We sell your car to a dealer or auction and the proceeds go towards helping approved veteran organizations. This allows anyone to donate any vehicle, in any condition! Learn more about the veteran groups we support through your generous vehicle donations.
Do you accept all vehicles?
Yes. We accept any vehicle, anywhere, running or not — cars, trucks, motorcycles, RV’s, boats, airplanes, heavy equipment, farm machinery, etc. No smog certificate is necessary, and we can solve almost all title, registration and ownership issues. We pick-up anywhere in the country.
What if I have title issues?
If you don’t have a title certificate, can’t find it, or have problems with your title, call us. Our friendly, trained vehicle donation specialists deal with DMVs across the country every day and are expert in solving these matters. 888-838-7834
Is there any cost?
No. There is no cost to the donor or to the charity. All expenses are deducted from the gross sales price and, if the costs ever exceed the price, the company that operates the program covers those costs.
How much work is it for me?
It’s easy to donate a vehicle. Either input the vehicle and pick-up info on-line or by phone at 877-999-8322 and give the info to our trained Service Center Staff. You fill out a few forms (you’ll need to have the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)), and you mail in the paperwork, including the title in states requiring one.
You will receive a call from our tow service to arrange a convenient time and location for the pick-up. You do not need to be there.
Veterans Groups We Support
AMVETS is a volunteer-led organization that has a proud history of assisting veterans and sponsoring numerous programs that serve our country and its citizens. AMVETS National Service Foundation funds an extensive network of trained national service officers (NSOs) accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs, providing sound advice and prompt action on compensation claims at no charge to the veteran. In one recent year alone, AMVETS national service officers processed more than 24,000 claims that resulted in veterans receiving some $400 million in compensation. This commitment to service traces its roots back to 1948, when our NSOs first began helping veterans of World War II to obtain the benefits promised them by the federal government.
★ Fisher House Foundation
The Fisher House program is a unique private-public partnership that supports America's military and their families, meeting a humanitarian need beyond that normally provided by the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs.Because members of the military and their families are stationed worldwide and must often travel great distances for specialized medical care, Fisher House Foundation donates "comfort homes," built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers. These homes enable family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful times - during the hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury.
★ Special Operations Warriors Foundation
The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families.
★ Marine Toys for Tots Foundation
The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is made up of thousands of Marines, Marine veterans and volunteers. Each year they collect and distribute toys, books and other gifts to less fortunate children from where these Marines and veterans live and work. Last year, for the 65th year, in 745 communities nationwide, Toys for Tots offered 6.7 million children recognition, confidence and lifelong positive memories - all qualities that may motivate them to become responsible and caring members of their communities.
